Xiaomi shook the entire smartphone industry by launching the POCO F1 with flagship-grade hardware at a mid-range smartphone price. Well, the Chinese tech giant has just launched the successor to the POCO F1 i.e. the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro in India.

So here’s everything you need to know about the new flagship killer smartphones from Xiaomi.

Redmi K20 Pro: Specifications And Features

The Redmi K20 Pro offers a plethora of features that were unheard in this price segment. This smartphone features premium construction and it’s available in Flame Red, Glacier Blue and Carbon Fiber Black colour variants. The design aesthetics of this smartphone will definitely help it to stand out from the crowd.

The Redmi K20 Pro sports a visually impressive 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that doesn’t house any notch and it’s almost bezeless. Similar to flagship smartphones like the OnePlus 7 Pro, Redmi K20 Pro also has a pop-up front camera.

The Redmi K20 Pro is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 855 processor. Consequently, performance will never be an issue on this smartphone no matter what you throw at it. Furthermore, Xiaomi has included eight layers of graphite 3D sheet for better heat dissipation. This setup consists of a 48MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP telephoto lens and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor. Well, Xiaomi has offered a seventh-generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor on the K20 Pro which has improved accuracy and surface area.

The massive 4000mAh battery on this smartphone supports 27W SonicCharge fast charging. Xaiomi claims that this smartphone can charge up to 58% in half an hour. Overall, Redmi K20 Pro is an impressive smartphone and it definitely offers a true flagship experience without the need of spending much money.


Redmi K20: Specifications And Features

In addition to the K20 Pro, Xiaomi has also launched the Redmi K20. This mid-range smartphone also offers great performance and built quality. That said, it’s slightly underpowered as compared to the pro variant.

The Redmi K20 has a similar display to that of the Pro variant. Furthermore, the design aesthetics and the camera configuration on the K20 is also similar to that of the Pro variant. Lastly, K20 also ships with the exact same seventh-generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

The only major difference between K20 and the Pro version is the processor. The K20 is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 730 processor. Moreover, Redmi K20 offers a maximum of 6GB RAM instead of 8GB on the K20 Pro.

If you have a budget constraint, then the Redmi K20 will be a great option. The performance differences between Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 855 processor are almost negligible until and unless both these smartphones are compared side to side.


Pricing And Availability

Redmi K20 Pro is priced at Rs. 27,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs Rs. 30,999. On the other hand, the Redmi K20 is priced at Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant and the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs Rs. 23,999.

These two smartphones will be available from July 22nd and you can buy them from Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.
